Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater

The Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater is a seasonal 2,800 seat outdoor venue that is the hub of summer life in the Vail Valley. The Amphitheater hosts more than 75 performances throughout the summer season, including residencies by the New York Philharmonic and Philadelphia Orchestras, while also serving as the primary venue for the internationally-acclaimed Vail International Dance Festival. Improvements to the Amphitheater include a new “lobby” and iconic entry canopy, integrated artistic monuments, a terracing of the lawn seating area, enhanced donor plazas, new and improved restrooms, and an expanded service area.
