The Sebastian Hotel (formerly Vail Plaza Hotel) is located east of the main Vail round-about, and is a full-service hotel that serves as an anchor to one of the most densely-developed areas in Vail Village. The building’s lodging spaces consist of one residence, 100 hotel rooms, 50 fractional-fee club units, and 18 employee housing units. Two restaurants, a lounge, retail space, conference facilities, and an indoor / outdoor pool and spa are also located within the hotel.
The design of the hotel is intended to respect the existing aesthetic of the surrounding buildings and plazas, while providing a unique identity that will establish a recognizable and vital hospitality contribution to the community. Sited on the main entrance to Vail, the building presents one of the first impressions of Vail Village and acts as a welcoming “beacon” for visitors to the community.
