The Ridge at Telluride

The Ridge at Telluride is the pedestrian village perched at the summit of the Telluride gondola system, between the towns of Mountain Village and Telluride.  Phase One at The Ridge is adjoined to the St. Sophia gondola terminal, and includes the grand lobby and reception point for the entire village as well as a private restaurant, lounge, bar, and ski club with lockers, a public fine-dining restaurant, lounge and bar, retail, and support services for the village.  Residents and guests of The Ridge enjoy breathtaking views of Mt. Wilson and the historic town of Telluride below.

The architectural design is rooted in the historic tradition of the Rocky Mountain National Park lodges.  The rusticated wood exterior rests upon a massive stone base, and references to the historic town of Telluride can be seen in the roof forms and the use of corten steel roofing.

Upon arriving via the gondola system, residents and guests enter the grand lobby, which is one of the premier spaces in all of Telluride.  Massive log trusses support a roof far above, and two stories of glass allow one to experience the full splendor of the San Juan Mountains.  Far below, the twinkling lights of Telluride complete this picture-perfect postcard view.
