Griffin Was born in Indianapolis, Indiana but spent almost all his youth in Madison, Wisconsin. Griffin spent most of high school exploring extracurricular activities and trying to find which suited him best. Participating in football, basketball, track and field, golf, soccer, and ski team, he grew very fond of spending time in all athletic environments. Outside of sports, Griffin grew up playing the piano and utilized his musical background to play saxophone in the high school bands. Participating in a high-level music program allowed him to travel with the band and perform in places such as London, New York City, Tokyo, and Kyoto, fueling his love for travel. After graduating from Middleton high school, he attended the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities where he received his Bachelor of Landscape Design and Planning B.E.D. While in Minnesota Griffin worked as a lead mover for a college moving company that allowed him to hone his skills of client interaction and personability paired with a passion for exploration and exercise. Griffin brings his environmental awareness to Zehren with an ambition to learn as much as he can about resort design and community engagement. Creating a future built environment that addresses climate change in a way that strategizes aesthetic design and modern sustainability tactics is what Griffin aims to bring to Zehren. Though Griffin tried every ski hill in the Midwest, nothing compared to his time spent in Breckenridge ski school. His aspirations to ski brought him back into the mountains where he hopes to engage the slopes year-round riding down in the winter and climbing up in the summer, engaging in all types of high alpine activity. Outside of the mountains Griffin loves traveling to Denver to visit friends and see as many concerts or sporting events that he can.
