Andrew earned his Bachelor of Environmental Design with an Emphasis in Architecture from the University of Colorado Boulder where he was the President for minority architect’s and the Vice President of the Architecture and Planning student body. Andrew’s background encompasses living and working in Hong Kong, Avon, San Francisco, and Shanghai and being exposed to a wide variety of project styles and types. While in the United States, Andrew worked on multiple resort, hospitality, and multifamily projects. During his time overseas Andrew worked for both local and US based architecture firms in Shanghai on a diverse set of projects ranging from shopping malls & hotels to senior living & assisted living. Although Andrew’s experience has been split between vibrant urban cities and relaxed mountain communities, he often finds himself being drawn back to the mountains and because of that, has developed a deep respect for the relationship between the natural and built environment.

In the past Andrew has been an active member of the Vail Valley community. He has been a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the Town of Avon. He has contributed to the Town of Avon’s Main Street Plan, Nottingham Park Master Plan, Lake Street Plan, West Town Center Plan, East District Plan, and the Town of Avon Comprehensive Plan.

Andrew’s sense of aesthetics is a synergy of influences and appreciations between Asia and the Scandinavian region. Andrew prefers contemporary architectural forms that reflect its context through noble materials. Tuning into a client’s vision and interpreting their ideas with a creative solution drives Andrew’s love for architecture and the design process. Andrew’s ideology is best summed up by the saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words.”

Andrew loves the outdoors and enjoys fishing, hunting, and camping during his time away from the office. He also enjoys photography and resides in Avon, Colorado.
