Private Residence | El Pescadero, Mexico

This Private Residence, located in Palm Orchard and overlooking the Pacific Ocean near Pescadero, Mexico, has been designed as a series of related building forms that step with the hillside and create enjoyable, private courtyards and gardens.

The style of the house relates to the Spanish Colonial architecture of the Pescadero area with classic materials of hand-troweled plaster walls, stone and timber columns, stained wood doors and windows, clay tile roofs, and decorative ceramic and stone patterns on floors and selected walls.

The primary orientation of the house is to the west to capture ocean views and breezes from primary interior rooms, covered verandas, terraces, and courtyard gardens.
