Shannon graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture. As a student, she participated in a study tour program in Italy, which focused on art, architecture, and design. The program helped her expand her knowledge of various historical design aesthetics, and cultural values. Upon graduation, she received the highest university honor of the Albertson Medallion for outstanding leadership, scholarship, and overall campus citizenship.

Knowing that she always wanted to live in the Rockies, she headed to Colorado to join the Zehren Design Team. The combination of Architecture, Interiors, Landscape Design, and Master Planning attracted her to Zehren & Associates because it would allow Shannon to expand her design knowledge outside of the field of Interior Design. Her willingness to try new things and ability to adapt to changing situations makes her a valued team member. In her free time, Shannon can be found snowboarding, hiking, biking, swimming, practicing photography, spending time with friends, and taking road trips throughout the mountains. She is also passionate about creative writing and traveling abroad.
