Paul thrives on the challenges brought forward by engaging architecture. He has always been an artistically minded person and combining that interest with architectural history and design led Paul into the field of Architecture. Paul attended Iowa State University where he received his Bachelor of Architecture, and is currently pursuing licensure in the state of Colorado. Paul was attracted to Zehren & Associates' diversity of projects, professionalism, and location, along with the many years of valuable experience that the firm has acquired over the years.

Paul's skill set allows him to participate and successfully advance projects throughout each of the different phases and into the completion of construction. His main passion and talent in the architectural field is conceptual planning and design. He has always enjoyed working with clients during the initial phases of a project to bring their ideas to life. His highly developed skills with 3D modeling have refined Paul's understanding and ability to simultaneously design in multiple dimensions. Paul has progressive experience in practice areas such as Resort Master Planning, Resort Lodge, Hospitality, Commercial, High End Residential, and LEED certified projects. He also has extensive experience in proposals and qualifications, marketing and graphic design in the field of architecture, making him the Jack-of-all-trades and a well-rounded addition to any design team. Before moving to the mountains, Paul spent almost his entire life playing hockey in Minnesota and then later on at Iowa State University.  Hockey has always been a very important aspect of his life and helped shape him into the person he is today.  After moving to the mountains, snowboarding, fly fishing, and backpacking quickly became some of Paul's new passions.
