Ten units in five speculative duplex town homes were designed for a development company to take in views of nearby golf course and distant mountains. All ten units are of a single prototype with slight variations to roof lines, porches, and garages - a four bedroom, three and a half bath unit at 2400 sq ft. with 2-car garages designed for an approximate construction budget of $340 per sq. ft. The architecture is a sophisticated mountain design, yet very warm, comfortable, and livable. It reflects its mountain heritage…heavy timber outriggers, metal details, natural stone veneers, and colors that blend in with the surroundings. Roofs are of simple form and include cold roof detailing and a snow melt system.
